• Callarama has defined the standard for animated Square Dance Choreography since its introduction in 2004. Compare to WinHash, Caller’s Angels, Taminations. The New Callarama 2 has been totally redesigned with many new features.
• There is a professional (paid) Version – mainly aimed at callers. But there also is a FREE version for dancers. People who are not afraid to use computers should download the program and give it a try. There is much to learn about Square Dance Calls.
• Callarama is a great learning tool for dancers who want to study individual calls (Basic thru A2) and sequence them, similar to the “Taminations” software, but with many more possibilities. These features, including operation by voice, are Free for All. Activation is not required.
• To get started, stay in the “INTRO” layout that is offered by Callarama initially. Use “Call Explorer” (3.4) to study individual calls and formations. If you want to sequence calls, see “How to move Dancers” in chapter 2. You can use the full range of Callarama features for free, except saving sequences of calls.
